What can AnswerAct do for your business?
AnswerAct is a platform where you build your own AI agents to reply to your customers. In your account, create an agent, add your business products, services, prices and policies, choose its instructions and actions, then connect it to your Instagram or Facebook business pages. Your agent answers your customer messages and comments using the information and configuration you provide. Start with a task such as delivery questions for your shop or service enquiries for your team.
Choose the languages and dialects your customers use when configuring your agent. Agent replies are not restricted to Arabic and English; those are the dashboard interface languages. Reply quality depends on your chosen model, instructions and examples, so test each language and dialect before launch. Message agents and comment agents are separate because private conversations and public comments need different responses.
Create and test your business agents inside your account, with their own data and settings. Check the current plan for the channels and limits available to you.
1. Create your account and choose a plan
Open Pricing on the public website and compare connected-page limits, agent limits, included AI credit and subscription periods. Use the price displayed for your country and currency. If a free plan is currently offered, it will appear alongside the paid options. Create your account with the requested contact details, then complete the selected payment method.
Online subscriptions activate after confirmed payment. A manual transfer waits for review of the payment details and receipt; opening the dashboard does not mean a pending payment has been approved. Once inside, check your subscription and available credit before turning on replies. You can manage an available automatic-renewal arrangement from Subscriptions and turn it off there.
2. Fetch your pages from Meta, then connect them
In the dashboard, open Pages and choose “Fetch pages from Meta”. Complete the authorization window with the Meta account that has access to the business assets you need. Select the relevant pages and accounts, finish the authorization, then return to AnswerAct. The discovered assets appear in your page list.
Choose Connect beside each page you want to use. Fetching the list and connecting a page are separate steps. Check the connection status rather than assuming every discovered page is active. If a page is missing, check the account and asset access used in the Meta window and fetch again. If the browser blocked the window, allow the popup for AnswerAct and retry. A page that later needs renewed access shows a renewal action.
3. Create the right kind of agent
Open Agents in your account, create your own agent and give it a name that makes sense to your team, such as “Store messages” or “Product comments”. Choose a message agent for private customer conversations or a comment agent for public replies. In Channels, assign the connected page to that agent. A page can use a message agent and a separate comment agent for their respective surfaces.
Start with one page and a clear job: answer product and delivery questions, collect an order enquiry, or respond to comments about a campaign. Complete the required wizard steps before publishing. Some steps differ between message and comment agents, so follow the options shown for the selected type.
4. Add the facts the agent should use
In Data sources, enable the sources your agent needs and add records with the relevant fields. Put current product names, options, prices, service details and policies in their appropriate sources. Fill in an actual answer when a customer is likely to ask about it: delivery areas, opening hours, the difference between two products or how to request a change.
Keep separate facts in separate fields when the source supports them. This makes a price or delivery update easier than rewriting a long paragraph. Save each record and check it in the source list. Only enable the sources the agent should consult. For an external business system, configure an HTTP call only when you have a working endpoint and know what information it should receive and return; that setup may need your developer.
5. Set the reply style and useful actions
Choose your agent’s customer-facing languages and dialect in its setup. In Agent instructions, explain its job, tone and next step. For example: “Answer the delivery question first. Ask which city the customer is in if it is missing. Use our listed delivery terms. Ask one question at a time.” Add reply examples in the languages and dialects your customers actually use, including mixed-language questions when relevant.
For a message agent that records orders, define the fields your team needs, such as product, quantity, name and delivery area. In Notifications, set the available email or Telegram destination when a person needs to follow up. In Model and memory, choose an available model and conversation settings. Smart wait lets the agent wait briefly for a customer who sends a question in several parts. Pause-agent settings determine when replies should stop for a handoff. Configure these around the way your team actually works.
6. Test real questions, then publish
Use Test and publish to try a short conversation before enabling the agent. Ask for a price, compare two options, send an incomplete address and ask something that is not in the knowledge. Check that the agent asks for the missing detail instead of making it up. If you configured order recording or notifications, test the complete action and check the result in its destination.
Save the corrections, test the changed part again, then publish when the setup is ready. Send a fresh message or comment through the connected customer channel as a final check. A successful test in the wizard verifies your setup conversation; testing the real channel also checks that the intended page is connected and assigned.
7. Keep information and usage under review
Update a product price, opening time or delivery rule when the business changes it. Review recorded orders and the notifications your team receives. Use Usage to see AI activity and credit consumption; testing, replies and other AI tasks can all use credit. Check which activities are useful before increasing volume or choosing a different model.
You can pause an agent while changing a campaign or correcting an answer, then resume it when ready. If replies stop unexpectedly, check the agent status, connected page, subscription and credit, and any message shown in the dashboard. Contact support with the displayed error code when you need help. Start small enough to inspect the result, then add pages and agents as the workflow proves useful.
